About Me

Hello! I’m Sophie!

I’m a filmmaker, sports broadcasting professional, and musician driven by a passion for storytelling in all its forms. Whether I’m behind a camera, working live production for a packed stadium, or creating music, I’m always focused on capturing emotion, energy, and authenticity.

Currently, I am a student at the University of Texas at Austin (Hook ‘em) getting a Bachelor’s degree in Radio, Television and Film and minoring in Sports Broadcasting and Production. I am focusing on the boundless art of storytelling as it has become a passion of mine.

As a filmmaker, I’m especially drawn to character-driven stories that highlight underrepresented voices, with a strong emphasis on LGBTQIA+ and female narratives. I believe film has the power to create connection, challenge perspectives, and give people space to feel seen. My work reflects a commitment to thoughtful storytelling, collaboration, and building environments where creativity can thrive.

In the world of sports broadcasting and production, I’ve taken on multiple roles that bring live events to life—from operating cameras to supporting fast-paced game-day productions. Working in this environment has sharpened my ability to think quickly, communicate clearly, and adapt under pressure, all while contributing to a seamless viewing experience for fans.

Outside of film and sports, music is another creative outlet that shapes how I tell stories. Whether writing, playing, or exploring new sounds, music influences my sense of rhythm, tone, and emotion across all of my work.

At the core of everything I do is a love for storytelling and collaboration. I’m always looking for new opportunities to create meaningful work, connect with others, and continue growing as an artist and storyteller.
